This is a traditional rice ball specialty store. Locals buy 10 pieces or 20 pieces, showing that the shop has been loved for a long time. Recommended is Aji Okowa. Rice balls made from sticky rice are rare these days, and the soy sauce is flavored well, and they are very filling. Miso is also delicious. Cod roe and salmon are standard. I also had a look at the side dishes, such as thick fried eggs, fried chicken, and simmered kelp, but the staff were quick. It is better to decide what you want to buy in advance. Some of the staff may seem blunt, but they are generally kind. Chimaki is also rare, but soybean flour is sold separately. Some people love the orange pickles that come with rice balls, and these are also sold separately. You can purchase it in the basement of Usui Department Store, but it is better to walk another 5 minutes and purchase it at this small shop. It's delicious. Most locals come by car. Parking space is small.

Open from 7am When I went there around 8:30, there were several people in front of me in line, but since I was only there for rice balls and side dishes, I don't think it would be a big deal to wait in line. The store is small, so only two groups can enter. Ordered cod roe, salmon, wakame, seasoned, mustard greens, and ginger. It was bigger than I expected, but since the onigiri was lightly salted and didn't have too many ingredients, I was able to eat it without overflowing.

It was a delicious old-fashioned rice ball. The rice was delicious, and the okowa type was chewy with a deliciousness that can only be found at a rice cake shop. Nostalgic rice balls
