This time, I visited a rice ball shop called ``Sugahara'' in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. Sugahara-san sells all onigiri for 100 yen (tax included) without raising the price so that children can afford it, even though prices are on the rise these days. The wife is kind and helpful, and the husband doesn't talk much, but you can feel his kindness as he silently makes the rice balls.This is a very warm onigiri restaurant. The outer wrapping is wrapped in green paper, giving it an indescribable old-fashioned feel. If you're interested in a simple onigiri with a nostalgic feel, why not give it a try?
