More Comments at Google MapA popular bar representing Shizuoka. Although it has a long history, it is lively and the staff are often kind, so it doesn't feel difficult to enter. The menu includes a wide range of dishes, from sashimi to fried foods and grilled foods, as well as Shizuoka's specialty, black hanpen. The prices are all affordable, so you don't have to worry about eating too much. A local man was having a drink, and a tourist couple was having dinner next to him. It's a popular shop, so you might not be able to get in right away on holidays, but the boxes are large and the turnover is relatively quick. There is also a koi pond inside the store, making it a wonderful store.
Omura Bar, a long-established izakaya in Shizuoka that I haven't been to for a long time, is now a legend. The lanterns, old signs, and lights give it a fun, Showa-era feel, with the atmosphere of an izakaya in a downtown area or under the elevated Ueno railway. The inside of the store is quite large, with about 80 seats. I feel like there is. Personally, I recommend sitting at the counter, but I was so busy that I didn't have time to interact with the staff. The hairtail was delicious. Also, the drinks were served so fast (lol) The specialty was written as boiled tofu, but somehow I didn't order it. I'll try eating it next time.
The atmosphere unique to a long-established store is irresistible. I ate the famous boiled tofu in a crowded restaurant. It was a unique tofu made with seaweed, green onions, bonito flakes, and dark bean paste. It's limited to winter, so it'll be back next season.
