Hiroshima, Japan｜Kantetsu Kyobashi

A great restaurant! Per recommendation of the owner, I had two different styles of konomiyaki, Hiroshima style and Kensei style. Oyster was great, very good meal.

Found this place near my hotel, walked in and the staff was already extremely friendly and was kind enough to find the English menu for me, got the chefs choice of the day set, 5 items and a drink which was a good deal. Every single item I ordered was amazing especially the shrimp and the horse with egg yolk was my first time having horse and it was the best dish I’ve had so far, it was absolutely delicious and I’m going back for more. The staff were kind and amazing. I 100% recommend this place.

The small counter-style seating made for an awesome experience. We ate a lot and enjoyed four drinks for 5500 yen between two people. The yakitori skewers and okonomiyaki were superb. Watching all the food being prepared was a highlight as well. The staff were super friendly and the menu has loads of photos for those who don't speak Japanese. Highly recommend, some of the best food we have eaten on our trip to Japan.
