More Comments at Google MapThe absolute best ramen on planet earth. My Japanese friend took me there a few years ago, and I begged him to bring me back. Pork that will melt in your mouth. I would be there every day.
I visited for lunch around 13:00. I waited for about 20 minutes with two people in line to be seated. This time, I had two choices: miso-stewed mackerel and sablefish, and I ordered the sablefish. The main dish, Gindara, had an elegant seasoning, and the accompanying potatoes and tofu were also flavorful. Personally, I thought it was a restaurant where the slightly harder-cooked rice was delicious. There was also dessert after the meal, and it was a reasonably priced and satisfying lunch.
I've been going there for almost 10 years. Apparently the owner used to work at Kitcho. The flavor of the soup stock is strong and I like the seasoning. Also, rice is served at the end of the course meal, and each month the rice is cooked using seasonal ingredients, so you can feel the season. The owner and the landlady are both very friendly people, and their personalities are one of their charms.
