More Comments at Google MapGood to drink, good to eat, good in sweetness, A restaurant with Chinese, Japanese, and Western cuisines. Meals start at 11:30, but you can buy jimanyaki earlier. At noon, from regular customers to casual visitors, Children's tableware is provided for guests with children. The Chinese soba has a light soy sauce flavor with dried sardines. Yamanashi katsudon is like a sauce katsudon, and simmered katsudon is a so-called egg-bound katsudon. We also have local gourmet boiled chicken offal. Motsuyaki is a crispy grilled pork offal, and you can choose salt and sauce.
There are several stores in Yamanashi Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture where you can enjoy traditional meals. In other prefectures, it is called Kaiten-yaki or Imagawa-yaki, but in Fuji Ice it is called Shima-yaki. The softness of the skin and the type of bean paste inside are different for each store. Here, there are black bean paste, white bean paste, custard, bean paste cheese, and sometimes seasonal limited items. Meals include noodles and rice, and there is also a lunch menu. Please note that there are Yamanashi katsudon (a cutlet and cabbage on top of rice) and boiled katsudon (a cutlet and onion bound together with an egg). Chilled dandan noodles are recommended in the summer!
A restaurant that serves jimanyaki, which can be called the soul food of Yamanashi and Nagano. At this affiliated store, the round, large-sized yaki called ``jimanyaki'' is popular, but the main store also offers ramen, set meals, and even beer. I live in Shinshu, so I only knew of Fuji Ice in Ueda City, but it seems that the founders of Yamanashi and Ueda were siblings, so both have a long history. The Ueda store is so popular that it causes traffic jams on the street all year round, but since there are several stores in Kofu City alone in Yamanashi Prefecture, it seems that people don't bother lining up at the main store. In fact, more people are eating and drinking inside. Although it has the feel of a food court, it is clear that the shop is loved by the locals, with friendly staff working efficiently and many regulars.
