More Comments at Google MapI used it around 5pm on a holiday. The rice is delicious and the quantity is large. There were many dishes that went well with beer, and I was very satisfied. I want to go again.
``The best store that makes you wonder why it's not a popular store.'' For some reason, Google says it's temporarily closed, and the most recent reviews were 3 years ago, so this is my first review. First visit in February 2023, before 8pm. Immediately after entering the store, I heard the owner's cheerful greeting, and that alone made me feel like I had hit the spot. The inside of the store is small, with counter seats being the main seats. There are two table seats, and there seems to be some seating on the second floor. The menu isn't as extensive as at an authentic Chinese restaurant, but there's enough of it, and the fact that it's not too much gives you a sense of security. This time, I ordered three types of gyoza (large gyoza, mother's gyoza, and garlic gyoza), fried squid, wonton noodles, and a highball. The fried squid was freshly fried and delicious, but the only disappointing point was that there wasn't much salad to go with it. Some people don't like having too much, so I guess this is a matter of preference. The large gyoza (I forget the name), which is considered to be the signature gyoza menu, is the size of a regular gyoza, but the taste is exquisite. It's not like the vegetable-filled gyoza that's been trending lately, but it's juicy and doesn't taste too bad. I was surprised that there was shrimp in it, and I think it's worth eating just for this gyoza. The aroma of garlic in the garlic gyoza fills your nose, making it very satisfying to eat. The best item for people who drink alcohol. The small one is defective. I don't know where Omukuro Gyoza comes from, but it has a nostalgic taste (maybe it's because of the name). The taste is delicious and the size is small like garlic. Everything except the large gyoza is small, but at 500 yen, it's a reasonable price, so it might be good for people who want to eat a lot, women, and children. The highball is not thin and is very filling. Each brand of alcohol had its own glass, so it felt special. The main dish is the wonton noodles, which are also exquisite. The soup is rich and light, yet has depth. I was surprised that there was bonito flakes, but this is the best. Soup alone could be on the menu. The noodles are curly medium-thin noodles that are just the right thickness. Even though the soup is mixed in, it's still filling and there's plenty of it, so I have no complaints. The wontons are smooth and chewy, and although they are not particularly large, there are a lot of them and they are very filling. Overall, it was so delicious that even though I finished it quickly, the portion was so large that I couldn't move after eating it, so it was definitely worth more than the price. Above all, the owner was serious and had good energy, which was what impressed me the most. His son also helps out, and although he is not used to it, you can feel the seriousness inherited from his father. Personally, it was such a great restaurant that I couldn't understand why there were so few reviews on Google and why there was no line. I think this is a restaurant you should go to before word of mouth spreads and there is a long line. When I later asked people who had been there a few years ago, they said, ``It wasn't that delicious back then, but things have changed recently,'' so perhaps the image from the past still lingers. At least I have confirmed that I will become a regular customer, so I definitely want to visit again. Well, really, why isn't it a super popular store? It's so delicious it's really a mystery (lol)
I had lunch, and the seasoning was mild and very delicious. The dessert, almond tofu, was also quite good.
