Had the Gyoza and the Bandai Ramen. Both were fantastic! The Bandai Ramen tasted like a barbecue and the gyozas were on point. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Great level of a/c; not too cold not too hot. Would come again!

Generous portions and tasty food. They were able to cater for vegetarians.

On this day, I decided to drink in Ryogoku, which is rare. I had little knowledge of Ryogoku other than the fact that it had a Kokugikan, but I discovered Yokozuna Yokocho, a very typical Ryogoku alley. While there were many shops that looked good, this was the first one that caught my eye. The yellow signboard and the old-fashioned Chinese atmosphere are very appealing. There are counter seats and table seats on the first floor, and there are also seats on the second floor, so there are surprisingly many seats. This time we used the table seats on the first floor. I immediately looked at the menu, but there were fewer drinks and dishes than I expected. Personally, I find it difficult to decide if there are too many, so it's just right. So I will order it. ■Large bottle of beer (700 yen) Since it's a gyoza restaurant, I have no objections to beer first. Bottled beer goes well with these kinds of shops. ■Gyoza (420 yen) It seemed like the time was right for them to be grilled, so I ordered some gyoza with beer. Classic gyoza that matches the atmosphere. The size is smaller than I expected and easy to eat. ■ Stir-fried levanilla (700 yen) I was thinking of ordering another dish, so I ordered fried levanilla, which is also a typical dish in town, and this was the correct answer! It's insanely delicious. The strong garlic flavor makes it the perfect accompaniment to beer. It was one of the most delicious levanillas I've ever eaten. So I thoroughly enjoyed the golden combination of gyoza, levanilla, and beer. It seemed like a good place to have a quick drink like I did this time, or a hearty meal. Personally, I highly recommend levanilla, so please give it a try.
