More Comments at Google MapMy friend and I were craving for gyozas and found this hole in the wall gem. Although it's Taiwanese, the handmade dumplings with assortment of flavours were homey, stuffed full of meat and fragrant. They're the best dumplings I've ever eaten. The elderly waitress was friendly and attentive, asking if we'd prefer vegetarian or meat before dining in. My friend and I are Malaysians, and much to the waitress' delight, she conversed in mandarin with my friend. It was just the 2 of us, so with dumplings served with complimentary earl grey tea and a laughter shared in common language, it was the most intimate dining experience in bustling Tokyo. 10/10
This was an amazing little gem that we found. The lady who runs it is Taiwanese, she can speak Japanese, some English, and Mandarin Chinese. The atmosphere was amazing - a quaint, small, hole in the wall. There are only enough seats for 6 people so be mindful of that. The food was absolutely incredible. Absolutely delicious gyoza/jiao zi, and they were also stunningly beautiful too. The lady who cooks and runs the spot was very accommodating and friendly. We also got a couple of big bottles of Asahi and some Zhongzi (rice dumplings in bamboo leaves). Overall, an absolutely amazing spot!
Loved the vegan dumplings here! Perfectly chewing wrappers with crispy bottoms. The shop owner spoke English and was very kind. Only six seats and the door was left open the entire time for ventilation. Due to COVID, they do not offer the full menu at this time and only have dumplings available.
