Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Gyoza Center

What a beautiful, authentic Japanese place! Loved the surroundings and enjoyed the food. Caters to all aged, it was great to see the children well looked after. There is also an authentic area for sitting on the floor, Japanese style. The gyozas are particularly delicious. However, all contain pork - even though they are different flavours.

Great atmosphere to have dinner here. Food tasted great. I recommend getting the chicken skin gyoza. Something I've never had back in my country. Staff were hard at work and tried their best to serve, lucky to be seated at the Japanese section.

We came across this place on the way to our hotel at around 2:15pm and they were closing at 2:30pm. They kindly let us in and have us a table and menu and didn’t rush us at all even though they were obviously getting ready to close. We ordered the Scallop gyoza, prawn gyoza and deep fried gyoza with a beer and cocktail. Every dish was outstanding and we couldn’t pick a favourite. I’d never had scallop gyoza before but I’m sure these are some of the best out there. The sauce on the deep fried gyoza was so unique and delicious, and when the bill came we were surprised at how reasonably priced everything was. Our only regret was that we didn’t order more, I would of loved to try the octopus gyoza! Definitely check this place out.
