This is a takoyaki restaurant that opened on April 2, 2023. The store was originally called "Kitchen Clover," which opened in October 2021 as a mobile store selling takoyaki in a kitchen truck, and after gaining popularity through word of mouth, it finally opened as the long-awaited physical store "Happy Takoyaki." did. The store is located in Hinahonmachi, Okazaki City. It is located 15 minutes walk from Kitaokazaki Station. There is a parking lot, and there is space for take-out as well as eat-in space inside the store. The store is located on a corner lot at the intersection of Hinahonmachi Minami, and across the road is the popular ramen shop ``Kibusachi''. The inside of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and there are 6 seats in the eat-in space. It's nice to be able to eat freshly made takoyaki on the spot. Apparently you can bring your own drinks. There are a total of 10 menu items, priced at 700 yen or 600 yen. All come in 6 pieces. The owner's commitment to food safety is that he does not use any chemical seasonings or additives, and he carefully selects and blends domestically produced flour. They do not use frozen octopus, and by aging and dehydrating the octopus, the odor disappears and the takoyaki is made with a special flavor that stands out. They seem to have carefully prepared the orthodox Japanese-style soup stock, and the elegant Japanese-style stock made from bonito flakes and kelp works well, so it's good even if you eat it without any seasoning! Delicious takoyaki is made without compromising on the quality of the dough. Takoyaki with a strong dashi has the best fluffy texture thanks to the carefully developed pasteurization and temperature control. By the way, using Hatcho miso as a secret ingredient gives it a deeper flavor. By far the most popular is "Mayo Hara". It was developed by the owner's idea that ``I thought customers would be happy if I harassed them by pouring a lot of mayonnaise on them,'' and it became popular on social media. Contrary to its impressive appearance, it has a refreshing taste with a refreshing sourness and a slight sweetness, and once you try it, you'll definitely come back for more! ``Ultimate Nori Mentaiko Mayo'' is a must-try for mentaiko lovers, and the chewy texture of mentaiko is irresistible! It's also delicious sandwiched with the seaweed that comes with it. Other photos include the classic ``sauce mayo,'' the ever-popular ``negi tako (soy sauce),'' the universally popular ``soy sauce mayo,'' ``ponzu mayo'' made with homemade ponzu sauce, and ``salt sauce'', which is rarely seen at takoyaki restaurants. ”, the classic “sauce”. Happy Takoyaki's takoyaki is made with carefully selected ingredients and strict temperature control, resulting in a crispy exterior and fluffy, juicy interior. The fact that they use safe and secure ingredients and are particular about the taste is truly a taste that pleases both the mind and body. Please come and try it!

It seems like they mainly serve take-out food, but you can also get it inside the store, so you can order and pay outside before entering the store. As expected, they didn't seem to plan on having a restaurant inside the store, so there was no free cold drinks, but ramune or beer for sale, and you could bring your own. This time I ordered additional Ramune. For the most important takoyaki, I chose "Mayohara", which was the first name on the menu. Is it an abbreviation for mayonnaise harassment? It was grilled to order and served piping hot. There are no plates, and the food is served in the same pack as takeout. Honestly, is mayonnaise really harassment? That's my impression, but if you add too much and it tastes bad, you're missing the point, so it's probably just the right amount. Takoyaki looks just like regular takoyaki, but it's so fluffy! There is no crunchy part at all, so it may not suit those who are absolutist about crunchy foods, but the melty texture is also very interesting. As a restaurant, I think there is a lot of private conversation with the part-time workers, but I didn't feel uncomfortable because the part-time workers seemed to be doing their best even though they were not used to it, and the manager was communicating well.

This is my first time using it. I ordered “grilled cheese” and “seaweed menta” for takeout. The inside is creamy and the flavor is rich. It was very delicious. The staff also left a good impression with their cheerful and courteous customer service. You can also eat in, so I'd like to use it next time.
