Tsukiji Gindaco Highball is the best place to stop by after work for a cool whisky soda and hot Takoyaki to enjoy with friends. Tsukiji Gindaco Highball Yokocho in Gotanda is just outside the exit from the Yamanote line in Gotanda which looks like a old railway car on the walkway. Inside you will find a room full of small bar tables, no chairs and usually a lot of people talking, smoking, drinking and eating every night after work. I just love this place! The main dish is Tokyo style Takoyaki which is a bit more cooked than Osaka style. You can also get other items such as Cucumber salad, Okinamiyaki, Potato Fries and more. You will also want to get a nice big Japanese Highball which is also just simply called Whisky Soda. You obviously can have a beer too, or both! If it's been a super hot day, I recommend the beer first for cheers, then move on to the whisky sodas to finish you off. Top Tip: Just yell "Sumimasen!" to get their attention and then when you get service simply say "Whisky soda, kusadasi." Enjoy.

I went alone as a girl, but I was able to enjoy my meal slowly✨ I drink a lot, so the price was high, but I wonder if it's just right for lazily drinking? It's right in front of the station so it's easy to get to!
