Itabashi City, Tokyo, Japan｜Takumiya Kamiitabashi Minamiguchi

I took a break in this small restaurant with excellent takoyaki and friendly owner. I like it.

It's my first time eating it, but I like it. The octopus may be small, as others have said, but it was delicious. This one is better than the Gindako at the station.

When I lived in Kamiitabashi, I would come home late at night and see the takoyaki signboard and buy some! It's probably somewhere between crispy and melty. A quiet male clerk was skillfully grilling the food in silence. There are various toppings, and the salty flavor is also recommended! The price is also reasonable, under 500 yen (this may have changed since it was pre-coronavirus). It has a somewhat nostalgic taste that is different from the takoyaki from major chains, and it is very delicious! I can't say that the store's appearance is beautiful, but I think that's part of the taste. It might be similar to the taste you get at food stalls at festivals ☺️
