Komaki, Aichi, Japan｜Hoteiya

This is a real local takoyaki place, and takoyaki fans will love it. The presentation is simple but the taste is delicious. There's always people getting takeaway which adds to the atmosphere. There's a place to sit in too. Takoyaki was ¥380. I had 10 but could easily have eaten much more!

3.50(123) Visited at noon in March 2023. Depending on the timing, you may be able to buy it right away or there may be a long line lol There are about 5 parking spaces on the west side. I've been coming here for a long time, and I can't get enough of the burnt soy sauce taste and the creamy inside. If it's freshly baked, you have to be careful not to get burned lol Personally, I like to buy mayonnaise (sold separately) to change the taste (^^)

The long-established takoyaki shop!! ️ I like the Showa retro feel. Apparently you can eat in, but I always go home with takeout. There aren't many parking lots, so you can place your order and wait in your car. I have to time it and go, though. . . The soy sauce seasoning makes it delicious even when it's cold. It's also extremely delicious when served hot. . The staff, all of them women, were very accommodating. It's amazing to see people silently grilling takoyaki in the hot weather. . . That's what I think. Each person eats one pack as if it were natural. Everyone just buys 5 packs and goes home. I end up repeating it over and over again. Thank you as always 😊
