Hiroshima, Japan｜pasta enzo

If you've come to Hiroshima to see Miyajima or the Genbaku Dome or for any reason, COME TO PASTA ENZO. Full stop. During my month long stay in Japan this summer, there was no other restaurant that felt as inviting as the owner, Mr. Noriaki Yadani made it feel. It's printed all across his Instagram, @pastaenzo. People from all walks of life flock to this restaurant, perhaps both for the exceptional pasta and omakase side dishes AND the stellar service. All throughout the night, until well past 2 AM, my party and I had the pleasure of shooting the breeze with the owner. He's friendly, interesting, and a damn good cook. Go here. Find yourself making friends. Find yourself eating good food.

Great time here …. food was superb and because it’s so small you feel an integral part of the experience. Pans and pressure cooker that are years old and a chef who combines the ingredients expertly …. we phoned up and reserved a couple of seats .. (only 7 in the place) … don’t be put off by first impressions 👍

Really amazing pasta and antipasti! The quality of the food was incredible and the owner is such a nice guy and accommodating. The red wine is the best I’ve had in Japan. It can be hard to find as it’s left down an alleyway so hopefully the pictures help.
