More Comments at Google MapWe loved this little restaurant during our stay in Shinjuku. It was decorated very nicely and looked super clean and well-run. What I would change is maybe offer translations for the food ticket machine at the entrance. It was quite hard to select food correctly. But the food was really worth it. We ordered spaghetti bolognese with a meatball and carbonara - but with a Japanese twist of course, as the name of the restaurant suggests. The portions were huge and the quality of the grated grana padano (or similar) was amazing! Lovely!
The food is absolutely delicious! The portion is huge, especially, considering it’s the smallest option available. Can’t even imagine what a big one looks like. Inside is clean and the nice music is accompanying your dish. Prices are reasonable. There are a few drawbacks I have to mention though. First, there is no other drink option than water. It’d be nice to be able to choose something else, like juice or cola. Second, for people who don’t speak Japanese, the order taking machine is in Japanese. The only English is on the first screen where it asks you whether you want to dine in or take out and then it’s all in Japanese. Wasn’t that hard to guess though! So, not taking any stars off for that. Overall, great place!
It’s cheap and delicious. The Japanese style pasta is simple and filling, perfect quick meal when you’re hungry.
