An old-style coffee shop in Kamakura. Limited seating in a cozy dining area with a counter. I ordered the tuna spaghetti, cafe au lait, and the pear cake. Everything tasted wonderful, but the pear cake really surprised me. The flavor was really balanced. Smoking is allowed inside, so beware in case that is a dealbreaker.

A very nice family place, it might be owned by the same family since 1967. I had a toast with honey and cinnamon and cappuccino. Both are delicious, but not special. Perfect choice for a breakfast. The other cafes are not early birds, but this one was open at 9-00. The furniture is old, no special decorations, but still very cosy. The only disadvantage - you have to put up with smoking, but there are fewer and fewer Japanese smoking.

Came in for coffee and pudding but the pudding was sold out. We went for the apple pie and tuna toast instead and they were tremendous! The tuna toast was a great combination of a fluffy toast with a creamy tuna paste. The blend coffee was also hot and flavourful, befitting the decor of this old cafe.
