More Comments at Google MapIt had a sweet flavor and wasn't sour, making it the most delicious Neapolitan I've ever eaten. I always like to put Tabasco and grated cheese on my pasta, but I forgot to put it on and ended up eating it all. I regret that 300g wasn't enough. The atmosphere of the shop and the cream soda are cute and retro, and I would recommend it to all my friends.
2023-06 This spaghetti Neapolitan specialty store is located just outside the west exit of Shin-Keisei Goko Station. I used it for the first time for Sunday lunch. Since it's right in front of the station, there's no dedicated parking lot, but there are some cheap coin parking lots near the station that cost around 100 yen for 20 minutes, so it's easy to get there by car. The store is on the second floor of a building facing the station rotary, but the stairs are quite steep, so you may need to be careful. However, once you go up the stairs, the store is spacious, bright, clean, and has a very stylish atmosphere. The customer service woman, who looked like my wife, told me, ``Please take any seat you like. Please use the wide seats,'' so my wife and I sat at a table that seats four. Inside the store, there are about 4 counter seats facing the large window facing the station rotary. In reality, there is twice that space, but every other seat is spaced apart, so it's spacious. There are also two round tables that seat two people and two tables that seat four people, but one has a partition in between and is designed like a counter facing each other. The white-painted walls and natural wood beams on the ceiling are woody and simple, but the space is warm and very relaxing. As the restaurant claims to be a ``Neapolitan specialty restaurant,'' the menu only features Neapolitan spaghetti. There are also several types of side menus such as koppepan, desserts, and soft drinks. The overall concept of the soft drinks is Showa-style, including Calpis, milkshakes, and cream soda. Napolitan is available in 300g, 400g, and 500g toppings, including fried eggs, sausage, and thick-sliced bacon, and there are also sets that include salad and soft drinks. On this day, the "Herb Frank Neapolitan" was available for a limited time only until the end of June, so I decided on that, and my wife decided on the "Showa Neapolitan Fried Egg" from the basic menu. The problem is the amount, but when I asked, ``300g is quite common, right?'', she replied, ``Frozen pasta is usually around 270g to 300g.'' I thought 300g would be a normal amount to eat, so I decided on Herb Frank Neapolitan 400g for 1,150 yen. My wife ordered "Showa Neapolitan Fried Egg 300g 920 yen". We ordered "Set C (drink + mini salad)" for 300 yen each. The drink is iced coffee. My wife also ordered ``Showa Pudding'' for 550 yen. (All tax included) While waiting for our food, my wife looked up the restaurant on her smartphone and learned that the owner had done all the plastering, painting, and retro-style interior decorations himself. The owner here doesn't seem to be free. First, a mini salad and iced coffee. The salad is simple: lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, and mayonnaise. This also seems to be reminiscent of a Showa era coffee shop. Iced coffee is bitter and delicious. My wife was also pleased with the flower-shaped paper placed under the glass, saying, ``It has a Showa-esque feel to it.'' And the main course, spaghetti Neapolitan. My 400g looks like a pretty large amount. Heaped on a retro stainless steel plate. Herb Frank is also large and impressive. The taste is a strong ketchup flavor. Ingredients are onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. The pasta is quite thick and chewy, giving it a Showa-era taste that makes you wonder, "What is al dente?" It feels like ``The Showa Neapolitan'' and is very nostalgic and delicious. However, 400g may have been a bit much. The frank was also large, so I was full. ``Showa Pudding'' is also served in a stainless steel bowl, with plenty of fresh cream and caramel. The syrup-soaked cherry on top is Showa. As for the taste, the egg flavor is strong and strong, and I don't know if this is a Showa flavor, but it's delicious. The Neapolitan, which has a distinct Showa taste in a stylish shop, is more satisfying than I expected. If I had to pick a weak point, I would say that the basic menu is only Neapolitan. Does that mean? I think this is probably something that they are very particular about as a Neapolitan specialty restaurant, but personally, I don't think I can come here to eat Neapolitan all that often. If the concept is Showa, I would at least want to come for lunch once in a while if they had something like ``Showa coffee shop pilaf'' or ``Showa coffee shop pizza toast.'' Well, even so, I think this restaurant's special Neapolitan is a masterpiece that is worth trying at least once.
The photo is of D set (manpuku set) with 300g Neapolitan sausage topping. The drink is iced coffee and the bread is butter. The location from the counter seats is quite good. I went during lunch time, but the view might be better at night. The store is on the second floor, which is reached by stairs, but the stairs are quite steep, so it may be difficult for people with walking disabilities. As for the important food... Neapolitan noodles are thick and filling even at 300g. The minimum amount is 300g, so if you want to eat a variety of things, you'll want something a little smaller. The food has an old-fashioned atmosphere and is very delicious. Is the sausage also street food style? It was delicious. The salad was just okay. The bread was also plentiful and delicious. It seems like the egg sandwich has been closed for a while, probably because of the price hike. The iced coffee also had the taste of an old coffee shop. Although the BGM and interior decoration did not emphasize the Showa era that much, it was a comfortable space. The whole dish matched the concept and I would like to go there again soon. I'm also curious about the pudding...
