Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜Higashiyama Coffeehouse

Cute little café in B1F of Higashiyamakoen station. We went with our little daughter and our big trolley and even though the shop is small, we got welcomed warmly. The café was filled with lovely music, which spread good and relaxing mood all over. There are two different morning sets existing that were both totally fine, but the small salad was really tasty. We had some additional mixed toast which made our start into a long day at the zoo perfect. Will definitely come again!

Everything you need from a Nagoyan “morningu service”: a fresh, mixed salad, a perfectly hard-boiled egg, thick buttered slab of toast and a cup of tea (or coffee). 500 yen or 450 without the salad (“Is it ok? It is 50 yen more?”). B1, exit 1 at Higashiyama-koen Station. Cosiness, courtesy and convenience.

A small and a bit classic style, but really nice cafe to stay, where you can enjoy a good quality of coffee and light meals in a quiet and friendly atmosphere throughout the day. Personally, I frequent this case for lunch. During the breakfast service time, one can choose either of two sets both of which are served with buttered toast. During the lunch time, they serve special set meals with choice of several today's special pasta/pilaf as well as regular ones, which come with a small salad, tasty soup, and drink. Overall, the meals and drink are all tasty and the price is quite reasonable. Anybody of all ages can have a good "cafe" time there. If I am asked about a good cafe nearby, I would definitely recommend this.
