A traditional Chinese restaurant located at the base of the Sky Tree. There used to be Ariake, a famous champon restaurant diagonally across the street, but now Fukkoken is the only Chinese restaurant in this area. There are so many noodles and set meals that I can't list them all on the menu. Although there are probably no tourists, it is crowded with local residents and workers during lunchtime. I was planning to order noodles, but I was drawn to the word "hormone" and ordered a set meal. A huge tube of mayonnaise comes with it. The soft offal and the strong soy sauce flavor make the rice (a lot of it) go well! The set meals come with a mildly flavored miso soup, which is also recommended. There were maybe 6 tables for 4 people, and since there was no counter, the seats tended to fill up quite a bit. Payment will probably be cash only.

We had a drink next door and finished off our meal with ramen. Both the entrance and the inside of the store have a Showa feel to them, but the staff were cheerful and accommodating. A safe soup with a thin pork bone and vegetable broth. The medium-thick curly noodles make up the ramen that is worth slurping. This taste is irresistible for seaweed lovers. Naruto, char siu, and bamboo shoots all naturally fit into the bowl and are doing a good job. The menu on the wall is at the foot of the Sky Tree, but this price ❣️ As long as I'm happy. Next time, let's eat tanmen or bean sprouts soba. The decoration is only the signboard on the front, but it was a feast that satisfied my heart with the taste of Showa.

My favorite Chinese restaurant had closed, and I couldn't find anything better. After several years, I finally found a store that was on the same level. I had no idea it was so close to my house. The prices are reasonable and it's much better value for money than eating at the nearby Sky Tree. My favorite is the Chinese bowl, and the half ramen in the set is also super delicious. You can also make a large serving, and there is more room for a large serving than you might imagine. It's not a date lunch, but I think it's a good idea to have lunch at this restaurant when the Sky Tree is crowded. it's recommended.
