Setagaya City, Tokyo, Japan｜Hokkai Oyamadai

A perfect, so called “town chinese”. Not owned by major FC, this is really a good local Chinese restaurant with Ramen and other typical set-menu (attached). My favorite is Hokkai Ramen, or sea food ramen. It’s bit salty and hot by pepper, but I’m kind of addicted to this taste, and come here quite often to soothe my hangover ;-) Don’t come here for 5 star food, but just a great corner Chinese - a part of your life.

I really enjoy this place. It’s very popular and crowded often. The tantanmen is super delicious and the gyoza are wonderful (and humongous). Check it out if you can find a seat in this 18-person (maybe) restaurant.

The gyoza is top-notch. They open til late night too.
