Underground restaurant! It’s an old style Izakaya restaurant. They serve cheap platter of food that goes well with alcohol. Staff were nice and tends to your order fast. They don’t have their own toilet so you have to use the toilet in the supermarket nearby like 2 min walk.

One of the best yakisoba in Tokyo, a bit hard to find. You need to go downstairs right in front of the Asakusa train station and then turn left.

◆ Fuku-chan ◆ Yakisoba 400 yen + fried egg 100 yen I went to Fuku-chan, which had been closed for a while due to the coronavirus pandemic. The store is located in the underground shopping mall of Tobu Asakusa. This underground shopping mall is irresistibly nostalgic. A valuable space that still survives as it was in the Showa era. Fuku-chan is in that corner. There is a menu other than yakisoba, and customers can be seen drinking alcohol. You can enjoy the unique flavor of the downtown area just like the yakisoba from the food stall. The fried eggs are also smooth and delicious! Even if urban development progresses, I hope that the atmosphere of this space and this shop will continue to remain the same.
