Old-fashioned Chinese food. It seems that they have been doing this since 1964. There are about 12 seats, and if you go during peak lunch hours, there will be 2-3 people waiting outside. The flavor was strong but delicious. Cashless payment is not supported, but the price was low.
I visited Ueno Shokudo after seeing it. I had the rumored Mickey rice. Vegetables, liver, pork, etc., with plenty of spices, it was so addictingly delicious. It was similar to my daughter's star curry. There was a large portion for lunch. It's a great place to eat! It's about 30 minutes from Shinjuku, but it's a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle. On the way back to Shinjuku, I saw the skyscrapers in Nishi-Shinjuku, and the scenery from the opening scene of Taiyo ni Hoero came back to me, and I was so excited!
