More Comments at Google MapI've been looking for fried omelette (that's what I call it), which is fried rice wrapped in an egg, for a long time. I found it at Coco Shanghai, so I immediately went to see it in the morning. There was no item that looked like fried omelette listed on the menu, so I didn't know how to explain it, so I asked for the name. ``The name Tenyame (Tenjin/Tenjin fried rice) is shortened to ``Tentsu yakimeshi'' because it is covered with eggs.'' Apparently, while responding to requests from regular customers, the number of requests for the same order increased, and it became a popular menu item. Since I took the opportunity to order some gyoza and fried shumai, I was super full from the morning. The atmosphere, volume, rich menu, and a little bit of strong seasoning were quite to my liking.
Order the daily special for lunch. The Russian people I went with were happy because the portions were large and they were conscientious. The stir-fried bean sprouts and chives were delicious. However, the amount of rice was about the same as a full bowl, so I asked for it and reduced it to half of the amount that was served, which was just right. It would have been better to tell them the quantity at the beginning, but they were very pleasant to deal with, and the staff at the store were friendly and made me feel at ease. Thank you for the meal.
It's open early in the morning, which is great for night shift workers. Moreover, the price and quantity are reasonable. If it was close to the station, I might go there every day.
