Yokkaichi, Mie, Japan｜Ichiraku

I really enjoyed my meal here today. Located close to the Yokkaichi Kintetsu station, this Chinese restaurant is definitely worth checking out. Recommend by locals, this restaurant gets very busy, especially around lunchtime. Their house special is the Tonteki pork steak and it’s amazing. The restaurant has a classic feel to it and the food tastes great. The service is great - our food was brought out quickly and our server was very nice. English menu available. I’ll be back again - enjoy 😊

Feels homemade. Staff was kind and accepted modified orders. We had sour and spicy soup without noodles, and it was delicious.

There are several shops that are famous for Yokkaichi Tontei, and this is one of them. I visited in the evening, and there was no line and I got in smoothly. It seems to be popular with locals as well, with many locals ordering the regular Chinese menu. This time, we chose the Tonteki set meal and the fried chicken with garlic sauce set meal, which was today's recommendation. The Tonteki was sweet and spicy, the meat was tender, and it was very delicious! ! I've also had Osaka Tonteki (which seems to be based on Yokkaichi Tonteki), but I really liked this one. The fried chicken set meal was also really delicious with lots of garlic! It is recommended shop! Thank you for the meal.
