Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan｜GYO the MAN Gyozaman

I was invited to this shop not expecting too much. The menu was a surprise having 20 different kinds of gyoza on the menu. We ordered 7 different kinds before we had to give up not being able to eat more. All 7 kinds of gyoza were very special in their own way and extremely delicious. The portions are big and ingredients just as unique and nicely prepared. My favourite are probably the wasabi gyoza and the tonkotsu gyoza, but hard to say as all of them were on a really high level. Unfortunately we had to go back to Tokyo that day but I definitely want to come back and try the remaining 17 kinds of gyoza during my next trip to Hamamatsu!

This is an izakaya styled restaurant. Definitely one of the best gyoza restaurants in Hamamatsu. Loved everything we ordered. Getting a seat without reservation is very difficult especially on weekends. Will definitely visit again and try other things on their menu.

Nice selection of gyoza, very tasty too. Staff was super helpful!
