Visited around 11:15 on Sunday, July 9, 2023. A shop I've always wanted to visit. I got there when it opened and the parking lot was already full. The flag was out and it was easy to understand. I ordered a croquette set meal with wild yam (small). I could tell by the sound that it was being fried after I ordered it, but it arrived without waiting too long. Rice is brought in with barley rice in a pot and you can eat it yourself. The croquette changes daily, and today it was meat and potato croquette. The contents were flavored and it was fluffy and delicious. All the accompanying vegetables are also delicious. The wild yam was also flavored, and I put it on the rice with green onions. It was slippery and easy to eat. The croquette was small, so I was worried that it would be enough, but it filled me up.

We had the daily lunch special at Tororo Soupya Kumachan. Anyway, it's delicious~, but this is my impression! Isn't it enough to compete in Tokyo? It was a satisfying time that made me think. thank you! The miso soup had a deep aroma and flavor, and the fried chicken and Japanese yam were also very delicious. Also, the rice was free of charge, which was a nice service. The accompanying salad was delicious, and I was able to enjoy coffee after the meal in a comfortable restaurant. The staff was very attentive and it was a great dining experience.

The couple visited for the first time on Sunday, December 11, 2022, around 12:30 p.m. The place was already full and there was one group of customers waiting in front of us, but we were shown to our seats after waiting for about 20 minutes. The inside of the store has a calm feel. From the menu, we chose the Happy Lunch (sashimi, meat and potatoes, fried chicken), Japanese yam (medium), 1,540 yen, and the lunch set (cold tofu, fried chicken, meat and potatoes), Japanese yam (medium), 1,380 yen. I ordered the fruit wine (500 yen). Each set meal came with rice, miso soup, pickles and a side dish. The set we ordered also had rice refills. The wild yam, fried chicken, and miso soup were all delicious. The owner recommended that I drink the apricot fruit wine on the rocks, and I received it, and it was extremely delicious. I went by car from Toyohashi, but it was a shop worth going to. Recommended. Postscript: Second visit on Sunday, January 29, 2023. I left my home in Toyohashi around 10:00 am and arrived at the shop around 10:50 am. There is a parking lot for 8 cars in front of the store, and we were able to park in one of the remaining 2 parking spaces. Since we couldn't find any signage, we and two other customers who had parked next to us waited in the car for the store to open at 11:15. Then, a customer got out of the car that had entered the last parking space and easily entered the store, so we hurried inside. Of course, we were the last to arrive, keeping in mind the order in which we arrived. I think the opening time according to Google Maps was 11:15 a.m., but I think it was a little earlier than that. Otherwise, about 3 pairs of customers will see it and will not enter the store in a hurry. There was no point in competing for orders due to the slight time difference, so no one was offended, but if there were people who could see us on foot, we parked in the 7th car and were seated at the last table. So I wondered if I could sit down. I thought it would be better to have a name list. I also confirmed with the person who was waiting in the car with me, so I think that there was no name list. I don't know if the opening time on Google Maps was wrong or that's about it. We ordered the exact same menu last time which we thought was very good. I was happy that you remembered and called out when you brought apricot sake. The owner and his wife are really nice people. I feel softness and sincerity when I serve customers. The restaurant was also very clean, and although the man at the table next to me seemed to be ordering sake, it was clean enough that I didn't feel guilty drinking lunch there. It is also good that there are no noisy customers. I had apricot sake as an aperitif this time, and I felt that it was really delicious this time as well. Good food requires good wine. I'm sure Japanese sake is also delicious. I think that a delicious Japanese restaurant must be like this. If either one fails, you will be disappointed. This restaurant can be recommended because the food, alcohol, customer service, and cleanliness in the store are all satisfying. I think the words on the chopstick bag can convey what is important to them more than my long review, so I'm going to post it as well.
