Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan｜中華 きりん

It's a great and conscientious restaurant where the food is extremely delicious, the prices are low, and the portions are large. I think 1000 yen will fill you up. It feels like a traditional set meal restaurant loved by locals. The parking lot is small and the location is a little difficult to find, but it's a great store. Everything is home-cooked and delicious. The portions are quite large, so be careful not to order too much. If you have leftovers, you can take them home. There are a few comics in the store, so I don't think you'll get bored while waiting for your food.

I stopped by during lunch and ordered the fried rice and ramen set. It's a half ramen with fried rice as its main dish, and the flavor is strong and salty, but the seasoning goes well with the beer, and I think it's highly recommended for craftsmen who do manual labor. Also, the bright and energetic female staff members are distinctive. It was a restaurant that made me want to eat there again.

It's Chinese, but there are plenty of Japanese-style set meal bowls. I don't know what today's recommendation is. Especially if you are transferred from the city alone, the taste will remind you of the nostalgic Showa to early Heisei period.
