More Comments at Google MapSeriously one of the best puffer fish restaurants that I have ever had. It was a wonder experience, the delicacy of the service, atmosphere everything👌🏻 The dessert at the end makes this course 100 points😮💨 Not to mention only about the food, but the little thing that the restaurant serves really shows their excellence hospitality (おもてなし) . Such as when they serve you bottle beer, they make sure the bottle is place in a container (instead of a piece of paper)to prevent the moisture from the chilled bottle. Or even having a heater in the restroom during the cold winter. I am again fascinated by the Japanese omotenashi hospitality...
A very unique experience. We booked counter seats so we could see the kitchen and chefs in action. There is a smart chef who speaks English and occasionally answers our questions. An elderly chef was very friendly and took out a piece of lotus root, so we understood that the appetizer was lotus root puree. The puffer fish 🐡 set meal is not cheap, because the weather was hot and we didn’t bring a backpack. When we saw the menu, we secretly ordered the cash we brought with us 💰. So I didn't order wine, just a bottle of water. The staff was really friendly. The English-speaking chef sent us out and took a group photo for us. In short, puffer fish🐡 is a rare subject and worth experiencing.
This is Kichisei, where some of the best chefs in Japan goes to the first market every morning and returns and prepares the ultimate delicacy you can literally die for. This restaurant specialises in fugu, a Japanese dish with pufferfish that is lethally poisonous. You never know eating this delicacy could literally be your last meal so the preparation of fugu is actually a strictly controlled by regulation Japan. Amazing huh?
