This Japanese-made tiger blowfish specialty shop is renowned for its fresh and delicious fugu, which is prepared by highly skilled chefs. I was a little hesitant to try fugu at first, as I knew that it could be dangerous if not prepared properly. However, the staff at Trafugutei Shinjuku Annex were very knowledgeable and helpful, and they assured me that the fugu was safe to eat. I was not disappointed. The fugu I ordered was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was unlike anything I've ever had before. The texture was also very smooth and delicate. In addition to the fugu, I also tried a few other dishes at Trafugutei Shinjuku Annex, and they were all excellent. The sashimi was fresh and flavorful, and the tempura was light and crispy. The service at Trafugutei Shinjuku Annex was also top-notch. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable, and he was always happy to answer our questions. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Trafugutei Shinjuku Annex. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very special. Very interesting experience since it's such a rare delicacy. Not as pricey as we expected so definitely worth it from a foodie POV.
Aaamazing service by a member of staff, explaining how to eat and answering our questions even though he didn't speak English well. Even stayed to help us cook our fish for the hot pot!
