We came in summer, which is off peak fugu season. There's still plenty of fresh fish, just no shirako to serve. Ordered their genkai course and added a 2 person hotpot to experience all the ways to eat fugu. The meat is tender, fine and springy. Noticed that one of the pieces is still moving, a sign that it's freshly butchered. We had various parts of the puffer as sashimi, deep fried, charcoal broiled and cooked in hotpot. The portion was larger than we expected and we came away from the 3 hour course with full stomachs. Good meal. Agreed that the fugu rice was the best dish.

The price was relatively reasonable, but it was delicious. Most of all, I was impressed by the staff's excellent customer service. The amount of food in the course is normal and easy to eat. If you are unsatisfied, I think it would be a good idea to order an additional a la carte dish.

I had the fugu course. It was filling and very delicious.
