More Comments at Google MapI visited while touring Utsunomiya Gyoza! 🥟 Honestly, it's not the classic Utsunomiya gyoza, but as a city of gyoza, I think it's good to have a variety of gyoza restaurants where you can enjoy such a chewy texture and cute appearance! Fried gyoza with mayonnaise and chili pepper, chewy and juicy, so delicious😋 The second time I went there, they also had tomato cheese gyoza, which is only available in the summer.🍅It also had an Italian feel and was delicious.
This is my favorite out of all the Utsunomiya gyoza shops. The skin is chewy and thick, so it's not suitable for people who like thin skin, but the fried dumplings are made with mayo. The boiled dumplings were delicious with ponzu chili oil! There are counter seats, so it's easy for even one person to come in! It's a little far from Utsunomiya Station, so it's convenient to have a car!
This shop seems to be making leather with rice flour, so I went to Utsunomiya and immediately visited. It's difficult to bake rice flour skin, but the fried dumplings are cooked quite well, and when you bite into them, they're crisp and juicy with meat juice dripping inside. This is delicious! The boiled dumplings were more chewy than the grilled dumplings, and I ate four in no time. I ordered 4-4 sets of 4 Yakisui, but 5 at a time was fine. Mayonnaise + chili pepper was recommended for grilling. I usually prefer soy sauce vinegar chili oil. I want to go again when I go to Utsunomiya.
