Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan｜Kibori

I was walking around looking for lunch when I passed by Kibori. The aroma of gyoza led me into the shop and luckily there were seats available. Most staffs can't understand or speak English but thankfully one of them could and we managed to communicate in a mixture of halting English and sign languages. I ordered a 8 pieces gyoza set that includes rice, bean sprouts, and miso soup (800yen). But if you're not too hungry, just get gyoza on its own. My mom and I loved the gyoza. The flour skin was thin, the pork filling juicy and flavorful. We didn't feel heavy after the very enjoyable meal. If you drive, there's actually a small parking area for diners inside the alley a few metres from the shop. Just look for the sign, or search "Kibori parking lot" in Google maps.

Delicious Gyouza and Soi source ramen. Perfect. And very cozy place.
