More Comments at Google MapI originally chose to eat here because I was not interested in the rest of the places in this building - I had no idea what to expect. When first entering, I was just a little confused because it was a tiny reception room lined with book cases and no host at the desk. A second later, there was a knocking sound and one of the bookcases pushed forward. I was ushered in to the large, eclectic and industrial dining room and shown to a hanging swing of a seat facing a fantastic view of the town square below. The menu is designed like a magazine, and quite extensive - you can ask for the English menu, but there was no way all the items in the magazine were represented. The lightly seared fish I ordered was quite tasty and served with a medium spicy chili sauce which didn't overpower the delicate flavor of the fish. The steak was slightly less cooked than I normally prefer, but had a nice smoky flavor that paired well with the pesto sauce that came with it. Desert was called "Special Cheesecake" on the English menu and consisted of cut squares of Cheesecake smothered in whipped cream, topped with berries, caramel sauce - all over a thin, fried, sweet won ton. It was really tasty even though it was not what I was expecting when I ordered. Service was attentive and quick - there was a buzzer on the table so a server could be summoned whenever you desired. Servers didn't seem to speak much English, but my Japanese keeps getting better and communication was not an issue. The prices were right in line with what I've come to expect in Japan.
We spent 8k yen for a two-person steak course. It's a bit expensive considering the amount of food but it was delicious. Everything from the ambiance, food, and service was worth the price. With a view of the Himeji station and the surrounding city scape, good music (right volume), cool lights and interior design, not to mention it included a two-hour unlimited drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Highly recommended.
This is a super great restaurant. The place is not far from Himeji Station and is on the seventh floor of the building. The entrance is like Harry Potter. They are a cool dining room have swings and car in this restaurant. You can sit down if you wanna eat on their tables. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth a shot.
