Tatami rooms! They have 3 private tatami rooms separated by nice bamboo and reed partitions and shoji screens. The atmosphere is very nice and also very spacious compared with most family Japanese restaurants. As a traveller the set menus for lunch were really great. Food was delicious and the staff very nice. In the evening it's more like a Japanese pub/izakaya. Great fish, fugu, iwashi (in season), yanagawa, yamakake...

Very nice Izakaya with friendly owners and great food! I'll definitely come back.

Oh unagi. So good. A lovely welcome and delicious unagi with sansho.
