Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, Japan｜Charcoal Grilled Dinning Kawaguchiko

I wanted to eat eel rice, but it rained suddenly and many shops were not open. I passed by this place and walked in and found it was surprisingly delicious😋! Ochazuke is my favorite, the sashimi is very fresh!

If you’re looking for a chill place to grab a quick bite because you didn’t make reservations to something fancy in this area, this is your place! Highly recommend the kimchi rice which will taste like nothing you ever eaten in the past but will be absolutely delicious! The staff is attentive if you use basic Japanese language and izakaya etiquette :D

Watanabe-San bossu is really kind and generous. Not only was his chargrilled food really awesome, he even has an oden tentage outside his restaurant as well. One of the best foods I've eaten are all from here. There is the "Basasi", horse meat that is super exclusive, unlike those from the supermarket or from the normal kawaguchiko restaurants. Upon trying it your eyes will seriously light up! So long as you know what are some of the rare type of meats there, you will have a super super awesome time there! His staff were also really friendly, professional and welcoming as well. Will always go back to this place whenever I visit Japan. So worth my time!
