More Comments at Google MapThis is a cute little local mom & pop restaurant in a residential neighborhood. They have a couple of parking spot right up front, but they also have an actual parking lot just a few houses down. The inside was very nice, with traditional-style design with thick and heavy wood everywhere. They have the cushions made with old-fashion pattern fabric, which went perfectly with the décor. As soon as we got settled, the owner came over and asked if we wanted hot or cold tea. We got some cold Japanese tea, which is complimentary here. Thanks! We had the special kamameshi of the day, which was Beef & Poached Egg Kamameshi, and also Asari Kamameshi. They came with homemade side dishes and soup. They came piping hot in the traditional kama, which was awesome. They were both really, REALLY great. packed with flavor that was earthy, comforting, and homey. Every bite was a delight. Another great thing about their weekday lunch set is that it comes with a dessert of the day! They had mizu yokan on that day, and yes, made in-house. Very tasty! I totally love this cute little restaurant! The food was great, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and welcoming. Such an awesome neighborhood restaurant!
wonderful restaurant! I choose ¥1180 えび set ,plus one 茶碗蒸 set. I like the rice with a rich taste. For the 茶碗蒸,I can feel the shrimp, bamboo shoots, mochi, mushroom, shellfish are dancing on my tongue~ when I finished my meal, i felt really full. At that time, the host serve me a dessert, Yokan with mocha tea !It is very palatable and I just up to my ears and felt satisfied. recommend! Ps: the menu is kawai~
I was told that it was a great shop for my cycling friends, and their families also used it. The friendly seasonal menu and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel at home the moment I entered. The handwritten menu is warm and relaxing. They have seasonal kamameshi, so after a few months, I suddenly remember and go there. I would be happy if you updated the menu through email newsletters, SNS, LINE, etc. . . (I wonder if they do it? Let's find out!)
