Really friendly staff, the chef speak English with his best. Everyone is funny and had great conversation with them (staff). Don’t be afraid to talk to them about anything. Even with other Japanese costumer they will be happy or even interested on your coming here in Japan (and other discussion) Also great game (Japanese baseball) are diffused at the tonpayaki ! That’s why I had to put 5 and 5 on atmosphere and service ! And alcohol taste better with great people ! A must try : Habushu ( A snake mix with Shoshu (Japanese sake)) !!! Food is really good too !! Japanese menu only but don’t be scared to ask the special of the chef or Hiroshima. Serve oyster also when season and really good, a must try ! Really busy on weekend so be really patient if you want the food to be serve. 5/5 perfect ! If you want to enjoy food it’s better to come on weekday. Weekend are really busy and the food come 1 by 1 but on weekend the atmosphere are great. Don’t be rush on that time, and enjoy with everyone !!

Absolutely fantastic little gem in a quiet street, away from the bustle of Hiroshima. The atmosphere is terrific, the service attentive, the food (innovative Hiroshima teppanyaki) spectacular and the bonus is owner/chef Kotaro, who will entertain you, cook for you and generally ensure you have a great time. Ask for his pig/egg roll… you won’t be disappointed!

EXCELLENT food. Really friendly service and long opening times. There are a lot of good restaurants in Hiroshima but you shouldn't miss Kotaro 👍
