Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan｜Oyster Bar W

I visited Oyster W for lunch just before 12:00, which opened just before the coronavirus and was a place I could go to anytime in the vicinity. It is a sister store to Oyster W, which is only open for business in Myojin-cho near Keio Hachioji. The number of restaurants in Hachioji City that I want to go to for lunch, which started during the coronavirus pandemic, is also in single digits. The interior of the store is small and run by a single woman, with a stylish L-shaped counter displaying champagne glasses and wine glasses, as well as multiple table seats. As usual, I was alone, so I was guided to the counter. There was no first customer and only one couple was the second customer. I ordered a double lunch of fried Hiroshima oysters and ginger-grilled pork for 1000 yen and raw oysters from Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture for an additional 350 yen. The type of oysters was determined through a subsequent conversation over the counter. It was served in about 10 minutes. Two fried oysters, tartar sauce and brown sauce, plenty of grilled ginger, cut tomatoes and salad, zha cai, oyster soup and rice, and one raw oyster. This was also made clear through the conversation over the counter, but all of the oysters here are safe and secure, having undergone safety checks. When I think about it, most of my personal favorite restaurants that I visit for lunch between 11:30 and 12:00 are overwhelmingly one-off shops or shops where you sit at the counter. I realized that it was the satisfaction of being able to do something. Now it's time to eat. The raw oysters from Kamaishi, which we were told to eat as soon as possible, were eaten in one bite. It's milky and has a lingering scent of the ocean, and for an additional 350 yen, it's an overwhelming deal. Next, we will have fried oysters with tartar sauce. The oysters are deep-fried with a lot of batter, so the batter is crispy, and the oysters are juicy and delicious. The other one is served with brown sauce. I wish I had paired it with white wine! The ginger-grilled pork is also delicious and hearty, which will increase your satisfaction level. Thank you for the meal, it was more delicious and satisfying than I expected. Next time I'll visit at night!

My son made a reservation and went for the first time. It was a very kind response, and I asked for a meal course, but all of them were delicious. Whether you like oysters or not, I would like you to go there at least once (*^^*). I will definitely go again (*^^*)
