More Comments at Google MapI immediately thought of leaving a good review from the great hospitality in welcoming us as asian travellers that only spoke English. They presented us with an English menu and also recommended cuts of meat (must try: Chateaubriand - slightly more expensive but it really melts in your mouth). The server was polite and asked if we wanted him to prepare the meat or if we wanted to, and we were so glad to have him to do it for us. He even shared tips on how to best enjoy it. Best of all, the money to pay is very reasonable for the food. One thing to note though, it seems the owner (or maybe manager) is quite particular about seating arrangements or customers that might be wasting his time. Although there it was a really good time for us, it wasn't pleasant to hear the owner raise his volume threateningly to a group that didn't speak Japanese or English (might have been a mandarin dialect) when they moved to an empty table without asking the waiter first. Our friends came in to say hi and were considering if they wanted to join us, and the conversation basically ended with the owner asking them to think about it outside before coming in. Since it sounded a little rude, my friends decided to eat elsewhere instead. Final verdict: Good food, even when served by an angry chef, is still good food. Highly recommend eating here but do expect that the interaction with the owner/manager may not be good for everyone! The rest of the crew are all polite and ready to serve.
They were packed with golfers but still accommodated me at the staff counter. My advice is ask for that seat. Interact with the staff and enjoy the best beef you will ever eat!
Ate here the night before flying out back home. The ambiance was very cool, clearly a favorite of locals as several tables were having fun and boisterous conversation. And the meat, oh the meat. So. freaking. good! A5 Wagyu that had a tasty sauce, and I added a little bit of Himalayan salt and lemon that was provided for free. Such tender and delicious meat. It was a great last meal. The servers were very kind and helpful, even offering us aprons to ensure we didn't dirty our clothes. 10/10 would come back here if I ever am in the Narita area again.
