The whole place is new, clean, finely designed. The veggies on the first floor are all really cheap comparing to Tokyo prices. The buffet (all you can eat) on the second floor is not worth it. Better go without the buffet option.

Found this on Google Maps while planning a trip to Ibaraki. I visited the Yakiimo Factory Museum because it looked interesting. It seems that it was built by reusing a closed elementary school. Therefore, nostalgic scenery was spreading here and there. At the museum reception, we received tasting versions of roasted sweet potatoes and Daigaku sweet potatoes. It was my first time to try Rapoppo's Daigakuimo, and it was the most delicious Daigakuimo I've ever had. Also, after completing all the museum quizzes (homework) and returning to the reception desk, I was given a souvenir cookie. This was my first time eating this too, and it was a moist cookie and delicious. There was a wide variety of souvenirs available, and the cafe had a full menu with grilled sweet potato flavors such as ``Yakiimo Latte'' and ``Yakimo Gelato.''
