We found this place accidentally, but we don't regret a single yen spent in this place. Quality cuisine with a modern twist. We found a real diamond in a seaside resort that serves Japanese classics served a bit tapas style. The service is in a class by itself. It was worth flying several thousand kilometers to get to this place.

Visited at night on a trip to Atami. With its neon light decorations and lo-fi music, it's a fun shop that blends into Atami's retro streetscape, creating a different atmosphere in the best sense of the word. Each and every dish is delicious, with seasonings and combinations of ingredients that I have never tasted before. I thoroughly enjoyed each bite. If you can't decide, you can definitely order the chawanmushi, which is the restaurant's signature dish. The chawanmushi topped with rich and overflowing salmon roe was truly blissful. Both the restaurant and the food have a slightly avant-garde feel, so you may either like it or dislike it. I liked it very much. It seems that the person who opened the bistro in Sangenjaya is running it. I thought they would like to expand their non-alcoholic menu for people who cannot drink alcohol. I feel like they only had tea or orange juice.
