Kusatsu, Gunma, Japan｜Japanese soba Kamo Tetsu

Ordered the Cold Himokawa Udon Noodles with Maitake Musroom Tempura. Noodles were chewy and delicious on its own with the dipping sauce. The tempura mushroom was crisp and juicy. 10/10 recommend ordering! Came back here the second time because the food was so good. On the side, ordered Chicken Karaage which was fried to a golden crisp and salted perfectly!

Underrated and wasn't busy. Matsumoto was closed for maintenance, but we were able to have try a version of the Himokawa udon with duck breast and it was amazing! For 1500 yen, it was a steal.
