A set meal restaurant in front of the city hall that I occasionally visit. Normally it would be full of customers, but since the city hall was temporarily relocated for reconstruction, we were able to get a seat right away. The set meal is 600 yen and includes coffee. A large bowl of rice costs 50 yen. Today's pork shabu set meal. It was delicious.

The daily set meal is cheap and delicious for 500 to 600 yen. There are also yui and rice bowls.

The building was renovated and reopened at the end of 2018. You can enjoy daily lunch specials, and there are 500 yen and 600 yen lunch options. Both dishes are very filling, so if you're a small eater, you might not be able to finish them all. There are seats on the 1st and 2nd floors, each with a different atmosphere to enjoy your meal. You can also make a reservation for banquets, and for 4,000 yen you can enjoy all-you-can-drink for 3 hours. The owner is apparently a calligrapher, and you can view his works inside the store. You can also purchase what you like. He's a friendly and personable person, so if you ask him, he might write your favorite characters for you...? Apparently they also hold calligraphy classes at night, teaching both children and adults.
