Originally, we had planned to dine at the carb-focused restaurant next to it, both places had long queues. In a last-minute decision, we opted for this eel rice restaurant instead! It turned out to be the right choice! The staff were incredibly friendly, asking us where I was from and mentioning that he had visited Taiwan and stayed for a couple years too, he can speak great mandarin, turns out they have branches in Taipei! It was a nice lunch experience, the food was delicious. We really loved it.

I went pass this old charming building once I visited a client then I came back for the food and It was delicious . It is a little different than unagi don I usually taste , the ell taste soft and I like the ochatsuke for the leftover rice . It is worth while the queing .

The best meal on this trip, if you are a big eater like me, go for the big size, 42k yen. It is really filling for an even eating machine like me. It also kept me full next 6-7 hours, which never happens to me. Go back to the food, did you see the photo how even the rice is seasoned? Perfectly grilled, with several different condiments to eat with, it is worthy to travel just to eat. The restaurant is also so charming, very traditional, old-fashioned, it is one of the most beautiful experience I will always cherish.❤️
