A local soba chain store located on the premises of Aeon the Big along Route 19 in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. I heard about it from a Twitter follower and had known about its existence for a while, so I stopped by on a weekday evening. It wasn't crowded at the time. Self-style, you place the plate of soba you want on a tray and proceed while taking your favorite tempura. After you pay and wait, they will serve you soba noodles. The price for the zaru soba is the same regardless of the amount, so get the large size. It cost just over 1000 yen. I didn't think it was cheap, but the amount of soba was quite large. It was delicious. It seems that there are many in Nagano Prefecture, and I have seen them in other cities as well. There are also apparently some in surrounding prefectures. It was generally good, so I think I'll use it again if I'm on a trip again. Local chains are good. I was satisfied and thank you for the meal.
