The miso soup and offal stew made by my wife's mother, who was treated to a treat at my wife's parents' house before joining my wife who was born and raised in Asakusa, are exceptional! That miso was Maku-san. Since then, my wife and I have inherited Mangyu's miso for over 40 years. You can't buy it anywhere else, such as supermarkets. They sell by weight.
