Abiko, Chiba, Japan｜Shouya

My favorite restaurant near Sakura Station, Harada Hachiman, was closed due to the coronavirus, so today I had lunch at the Sho and Abiko branch. I was thinking of having a light meal due to the summer heat, but I was curious about the ``Shokado bento'' on the menu and ordered it. Sashimi, fried chicken, spaghetti, grilled ginger and all my favorite foods. It was like an all-star game at lunchtime. For rice, you could choose white rice or rice, and you could get refills of white rice and miso soup for free. I plan to have lunch here for a while when I walk around the Joban Line area.

I took my mother, who had lost her appetite due to her age. He ate a variety of snacks little by little and said they were all delicious. I was happy to be able to eat more than usual. The staff at the restaurant were also very pleasant, and although I rarely go to izakaya myself, I would like to go there again soon just for the food.

It's quite filling and the rice is delicious with free refills.
