Amazing izakaya with super good food. The must tries are the skewers, rice ball and scallop risotto (feels more like a congee but amazing)

Beef skewers, soft, juicy and chewy Rice cake skewers, soft, glutinous and salty Okra skewers and asparagus skewers, crisp and refreshing Small tomato skewers, juicy and sour in one bite. If you have difficulty choosing, just order the platter. This is a restaurant without any scams👍👍👍

We loved this place and came back here for a quick bite 4-5 times while in Kyoto for 4 days. Yakitori and Steak skewers are delicious, the complimentary edamame is delicious, drinks and food are quick and service is great! We thoroughly enjoyed this place - I am shocked the overall rating is lower. Must try at Pontocho!
