Shizuoka, Japan｜Umibouzu

I stopped here for the first time after returning from my father-in-law's memorial service. Raw shirasu is fresh! The shizoka oden is also delicious! I highly recommend Mishima croquettes! My wife and I ate a 10-piece serving of Shizuoka Oden, and it was very filling! My stomach is full! Beef tendon is delicious! We also recommend the black hanpen fries! Is delicious!

I was on a business trip to Shizuoka and didn't have much time before my appointment, so I searched for a place to have lunch in the station building and found this place. I saw Shizuoka oden on TV and wanted to try it once, so it was just right. Perhaps it would be more reasonable to eat at a so-called oden restaurant a little away, but I enjoyed it enough. As a foreigner, I was denied entry to Aoba Oden Street, so I was worried about not eating Shizuoka Black Oden, but I still wanted to try the local specialty, so I searched on Google and came to this place in the train station building. I was worried because the rating was a bit low, but it was a good choice. The taste seemed more like a chain restaurant rather than depth, but it was good enough for a foreigner who doesn't know much about Japanese food. Even if you don't know Japanese, you can place your order using the touchpad, so you can order while looking at the photos, and ordering was simple using a translator. Odoshi was around 400 yen and the waiter brought several snacks to your table so you could choose from them. I chose stir-fried burdock. I mainly ordered black oden, but there are many other types of snacks. In the case of oden, you can order a set or just order the skewers you want through the pad. Be sure to order Kuro (black) Hanpen, a local specialty that is not found in other regions. Delicious. If you have trouble ordering because you're not good at Japanese and want a place with easy transportation, this is a good place.
